Disney Princess: Enchanted Journey

Purchased this for my 5 yr old. The game is very non-intuitive. It's just sponging off the Disney Priness name.

I (her dad) tried it myself and I've played MANY video games w/o picking-up a manuel with no issue. But this one is not designed well. It's not easy to follow at all. I can only say for those who gave it a high rating, I'm assuming they had mediocre expectations at best.

In summary, purchase another game.

This was my almost-4yo daughter's first video game ever. We wound up playing it together since it uses the wand for magic and the nunchuk for movement, and working them both at the same time was too hard for her. But she loved the "plot", the action and of course - THE PRINCESSES. Together we finished it in 5-6 hours worth of gameplay, during which she was absolutely enthralled... but that is probably my fault for playing it too fast, for a child alone it would probably be 8-10 hours of gameplay. Definitely a fun game for young girls... I'm guessing ~5-6 years old or so will be the sweet spot for this game.

Although the graphics like all Wii games are not as good as other platforms this is a great game. My 4 year old daughter has been playing this and Dora for hours.

I bought this for my 4 year old for her birthday. She likes to play the wii but doesnt grasp games such as Mario yet. She really likes this game and the graphics are pretty good. Within 2 days my wife got interested in the game and started playing it until she beat it! A good game for under $20. Its not a super long game but the entertainment value is there.

I bought this game for my 4 yr old daughter for her birthday. When I asked her to review it (and of course had to explain the word at first) she said "I love that game". It is short and mostly uncomplicated for younger users. I had to help her to design her character at the beginning and sometimes she had some troubles moving it around the game but she absolutely loved it. Truly meant for an optimistic princess.
