FIFA Soccer 09 All-Play

My grandson is a sports nut. He can tell you every play for every football or soccer game played. This game will add to his inventory. He is crazy about the game and refuses to eat, sleep or anything else until he is finished. Information that will help him on the field. Good luck in trying to get your kid away from the tube, or should I say, flat screen.

I am totally dissatisfied with this game. I was a big fan of FIFA 08 and was very excited to play 09. However, the biggest glitch (at least for the wii) is that the game invariable disconnects during online play. This happens EVERY TIME there is a goal kick, and happens often during other points during play. It is ridiculous.

The defensive players also seem to move more slowly, and take one step in the wrong direction prior to moving into the right spot, although this may just be a learning curve for me.

The disconnection during online play destroys the game for me, as I primarily like to play online against others.

The points and pass is a cool idea, but they should have gotten the game right. I do not recommend this game at all.

Great controls, great details and a lot of depth. The game has a detailed career mode that will keep your playing. It won't amaze you with graphics or anything like that (this is the Wii we are talking about), but it is fun to play with the Wiimote.

The biggest and probably only con, is the fact that the online play is absolutely horrible. I have yet to be able to complete a full game due to lag and drops, which seems due to EA servers.
